September 27, 2004.
We participated in our first festival in Clifton, Ohio on September
24,25 &26 during Old Clifton Days.
Thanks to all who helped make our first festival a great time.
We introduced the Native American style flute to several who had never
seen one before. They had heard the sounds on TV and in the movies but had never seen or in some cases never even heard of
the Native American flute. It was a joy to see their faces light up when they heard the soothing sounds coming from this
simple insrument.
We sold several flutes and many CDs. I think the ultimate comliment
came when a vendor near us who was stuck listening to our playing for three days bought one of our CDs.
A special thanks to Eddie & Diane Bennett for keeping us supplied
with funnel cakes, and for being so delightful.
October 8, 2004 We played our flutes
for the residents at Essex nursing home in Springfield, Oh. What a wonderful time. If you play the Native American style
flute I suggest you try playing for other people.
October 9 & 10, 2004 We displayed our flutes
at the Ohio Woodfest in Enon, Oh. held at the Hardwood store. We had a great time and were treated very well by the owners,
John & Lisa Clark. www.thelumberstore.com

It has been a while since we have added anything to this page. So
much has happened since our first show sometimes it's hard to keep up with. It has been a wonderful time of festivals and
music. We have met and become freinds with so many people who love the flute and the peacefull sounds they make. We also have
made freinds of other vendors like Chuck and Sheila Grimes, their daughter Shawn, and grand daughters Blake and Taylor. The
one thing that amazes me is that with all the work other people do, people like John De Boer and others, many people have
never even seen this instrument though they have heard it all their lives on TV and in the movies.
We have made a wonderful freind in a fellow flute maker whose work I
respect, Charles Perdue. We met at a show that we were both working and the freindship was instant. Over the year and a half
we have known Charles we have shared much information and have helped each other. I know for me the freindship has enriched
my life.
We are very honored to have our flutes in the hands of professional
flute players. Jan Michael Looking Wolf Reibach has added our flutes to his new album, "Tribute To The Flute Makers". A wonderful
album with 70 minutes of music. We are proud to be a part of this important album.
We have two albums and are going to make another as well as a Christmas
album and song book for late 2006. Our song book, "Hymns For The Flute" has been a wonderful success. The flute bags Sandy
makes sell very well and we are encouraged by all we have done.
I need to say a speacial thanks to my best freinds, Ernie Entler and
Mike Stevens. They have helped me work out my dream and encouraged me along the way. My hope is that you have freinds like
these men.
Our next show will be in Dayton Oh. at Hara Arena the
three days after Thankgiving, 2005. We also have events coming up for Elderly United. I will make mention of these later.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, Tim.
